This is a project I have been meaning to do for a while now that involves you, the viewer! The project is called -hold for applause...
RompMania: Featherweight League
As you clever witted creatures have probably surmised, it is a wrestling themed contest where different species of eagles are paired up against one another and they fight for dominance! This is where -you- come in. As there is a fight between two eagles, you get to vote on who wins. Votes are gathered up and the one with the most votes will most likely win! I say most likely, as I have yet to decide on if there are additional game mechanics to the fighting (rolling dice on attributes, some such). But the audience vote is what will count the most heavily. After the winner has been chosen, I will be drawing him/her humping the loser along with other flavor sketches of announcers commenting on the fight.
There will likely be 8 characters, all eagles of different species (for the first season anyway). I'll be drawing a profile for them, some backstory for those interested and perhaps stats depending on what the game mechanics end up being. You will also be able to leave suggestions on how you'd like to see the winner top the loser and I may take influence on them. It will most likely be a double-elimination tournament, as in first there are four 1 v 1 matches and winners of those matches then fight the winners of the other matches. Not every species gets to fight every other species as there would simply be too many things to draw, but I figure I'll do multiple seasons over the years of this and pair the regulars differently the next time.
I'll post more on this in picture form once I get it a little more fleshed out, but I'd like to hear your voices on this, if it's something you're interested in participating in. I've wanted to do more community interaction for a long time and I think it'd be fun to have you voting on your favorite fighters to influence what I draw. Feel free to offer suggestions too, but do let me know if this is something you'd participate in. The voting will be a quick process through some web voting app, so it won't take too much of your time.
