To be compatibility with everyone's version of Flash Studio we have to reuse the assets. That means standard buttons and the sprites will no longer be clickable. However don't worry about various menus and the content you normally saw by clicking the sprites because they've been moved around so nothing is getting cut out of the game.
The Notice box, completion percentages and the date part of the Time box are being removed from the interface to shuffle everything around and make more space. Notices will now appear in the dialogue text so don't just skip it the first time or you'll miss it. Completion percentages can be found in the menus as per usual, it wasn't helping anything with them being on screen anyway. The date is still in the menu and it says the date and day of the week as a title card when it passes midnight.
The curtain is going. Life values appear in the dialogue text when they are changed and can be looked up in the menus. Same for completion values.
There will be around 6 options max in a page but there will also a previous and next page button to cycle through the option by changing the text in the 6 available options.
As requested METAL will replace the Talk/Examine/Use buttons, which will make walking a 2 step process. Instead of clicking each direction on by one you can select the location you want from the menu and they will make their way over to that location automatically traversing everything in between on their way.
Screen size will be 800x400 at the moment. Most likely it will never be a FIAR 400. It would just be for aesthetic purposes anyway as the file size might be too large. Though with it split up into different characters it's unclear how much data that would save.
The "Continue->" button will be replaced by "->" & ">I" where the left button is the next page "continue" function and the right is the final page in branch "skip" button.
And finally the dialogue box is 1 line longer to compensate for the extra row of buttons which also means a lot of the dialogue will have to shuffle along but that makes branches shorter so it's all good.
