And neither is my project. My day job workload left me in a pretty bad spot as far as personal projects go, and frankly, I've been wrestling with some minor depression over how little I fit into this city... but enough complaining.
I've finally been able to sink my teeth into the Twine project again over the past few days, and I think I've overcome the technical hurdles in my way, mainly by switching to Sugarcube (why I thought the defaults would work for me, I'm not sure... I'm only using this sort of software because I can't work with anything too much like a C derivative after working in C++ and C# all day). I've also re-envisioned the game over the last few months of not having the time/motivation to work on it, and I think I've resolved its identity crisis, so I have a good idea of what I'm working toward.
It's gotten considerably weirder, but now the idea has some personality to it, which is nice.
