Audience Participation – Round 5
Okay, it’s been, um, 19 months since voting for Round 4 closed and the resulting story is very nearly finished; expect it before the end of the week. The job I started 18 months ago gave me very little opportunity to write. But I’m unemployed again now, so let’s get back in the saddle.

This series of stories follows an online snuff video company. This company releases videos at regular intervals; for a fee fans can vote upon the content of the next video. Let’s say it costs $1 a vote. Someone who has $500 to spare can distribute 500 votes as they see fit.
The company obviously wants the voters to spend a lot, so they offer perks. Normally, you must pay to download the completed video (let’s say $100), but for example, if you spend enough in the voting phase ($200), you can download the completed video for free. If you spend a higher amount, you can watch a livestream of the death.
To make it clear, I am not asking for money, and you do not actually have to pay to vote. The preceding is all hypothetical to set the scene.

VOTING IS NOW CLOSED.
Six young fur girls are lined up in a featureless white room, their heads bowed and their hands clasped in front of them, wearing nondescript blue-gray smocks and black collars that identify them as slaves. They are aware of what they are here for. At an auditory cue, they step forward one at a time, look towards the camera, smile (as they have been instructed to do), and turn around once to show off their profiles and tails while their names and ages appear in onscreen captions.

D. Lomro – Goat (white fur) – Age 7, smiles

F. Vipu – Grey Kangaroo – Age 9, smiles
How will she be dressed?
G. Fantasy Princess
H. Plain dress
I. Sundress
J. Swimwear
K. Tribal
L. White satin and lace
How will she die?
M. Bagging
N. Decapitation
O. Electrocution

You have 12 votes to distribute however you see fit. For example, if you really want to see the goat snuffed but aren’t picky about anything else, you can give all 12 votes to (D). If you really want to see a beheading, give a bunch of votes to (N). Or you can distribute them evenly between all three categories, or give one vote each to 12 different options.
The top voted options in each category will determine the content of the next ‘video.’ The least popular options in each category will be removed from the options available in Round 6 – so if there’s an option you want to see later, you might want to give it a vote or two to keep it out of last place.
All votes are final. I am no longer allowing voters to move their votes around after posting as I have done in the past.
Comment on this journal to vote. Voting is open for one month or until three days after I post my next snuff story, whichever comes later. And then I will take a stab at ‘quickly’ whipping something up.
