I'm Stumped

Ya know what, the reason it's taking me so long to finish the next page of "Little Hedgehogs" is because I just can't think of how Sonic and Shadow will escape their house swarming with Eggbots before Eggman captures Pregnant Sonic on tow.
I the original story, the robots just show up and snatch Sonic from Shadow's protective embrace, but then I thought... "That part needs a little more action." I'd like for the two Hedgehogs to try to evade the bots, for Shadow to try and protect his mate and unborn child.
So please give me some ideas, how should Sonic and Shadow get out of the robot infested house?

they could hide in any nearby closets or even attempt to make some sort of makeshift disguise to fool any of the eggbots and their sensors?

Hmm... Let's see, please... After they're escaped, they runnin' and found a new place to hiding without Eggman found them and capture Sonic.

In my original story, Bokun managed to inject Shadow's legs with a numbing dart so he couldn't walk. That's why Sonic was snatched so easily.

However if you don't plan to use that bit then I suppose I can give my two cents ^^ Maybe Shadow hides Sonic somewhere and tries to fight off the bots on his own, but Sonic gets found by a robot anyway?
