I am so broke from not having a job for almost a year that I now OWE money to the employment office in my state. ~sigh~
So, with that I am open for commissions. I have started to stream game plays on Twitch.tv between job hunting my username is CubbieHyena, look for me there! I mostly do Skyrim game plays. Thinking of doing some art there too, but my computer doesn't have any drawing program nor do I have any webcams. The minimum, if you are curious about asking for a commission is $10 USD for one of my traditional drawings. I'm not that good at digital. So, if you want to help out, let me know in notes.
Also, if you are curious to what happened to my job. Let me spell it out for you. Literally. As I have typed this... on my computer.
Okay. So back in 2005, I got hired by a company that owned and operated 5 adult video stores in my city. I had at one point worked at all five locations. I LOVED my job. I sold dildos and dirty movies. I got to meet new people, the rare furry here and there. But, it wasn't meant to last. In December of 2015, we learned that the company I worked for was down sizing. HARD! (pause) They sold two of their locations and closed two others. I was working at Lib W when it was sold. So, I got fired by the old company and insta-hired by the new company.
I was happy, because I didn't lose my job. But, sadly, I didn't get to keep my job. Due to my fault of being stubborn and at one point spiteful, I lost my job with the new company. The new company being, we'll just call it Lib7, owned by a gentleman that lived across the country. So he didn't understand the way the GM was treating us. He, the GM (General Manager) wanted us, the clerks, to clean and police the arcade and mini-theater. To the point that we were LOSING customers. No body wants to be harassed when they are jerking off. I know I don't like being bothered when I'm having "me time." And I felt wrong for bothering people. So, I stopped doing it. I just went; "NOPE! I'm not doing this! You can't make me!" and I was fired. I wouldn't have minded so much, if it was an hourly check and not the person in charge of cleaning the mini-theater and arcade. But, he wanted us to do checks every 15 mins.
I lost so many customers. We had security cameras that worked and I could tell if someone was doing something they shouldn't in the hallways of the arcade. I honestly think the mini-theater is illegal as its more of an orgy room then a theater. And the fucked up thing? I was fired via TEXT MSG! Illegal much?
So, I'm now unemployed from July of 2016 until September of 2016 when I get hired at another adult shop. Oh man... if I thought my last boss was a jerk, then the people I worked for at, lets call it Faildise, were MONSTERS! I was fired for "Not answering my phone when they called me." Anyone that knows me that I will answer my phone right away if I am awake, and if I am not awake and you get my voicemail, leave me a message and I will call you back! I will. But, they hadn't called me and I had no voicemails. I was called later and told my shifts for the weekend were covered and I was free to go. I asked if my last check was there and was told by one of the Monsters that I'd have to wait until the next pay period for everyone else. Thank the gods that the owner called me a few days later and told me it was there that Monday. If I had to wait two weeks for my check I would have sued them.
So... that was in October 2016. I have that job for a month and two weeks. Maybe a month and three weeks. It sucked. And I know that if I ever need an adult item/movie I'd rather go to Lib7. So, I'm unemployed up until the first week of November. I start working for Plaid Pantry! I'm only going to say their name because they didn't fire me.
No. I had a PANIC ATTACK on shift! I quit on the spot. Which messed up my unemployment MONTHS later. Its just now kicking me in the financial ass. ~sigh~
So... wow... I say So a lot. But, I got hired at a craft store for seasonal. So, when the holiday season ended... guess what? Yeah... I was let go. Told to apply if I saw any PT work available but, I have yet to see any. So, I've officially been unemployed since January 15th of 2017.
I do like not having to be anywhere everyday. But, like most adults... who live on the grid... I have BILLS! *headdesk* So, if people want to help me out, yay! If not, I understand. So, while I job hunt, I am OPEN FOR COMMISSIONS!
