Start of the new year, back to school and what not... *flops back in my bed*
I just got back on the first from a long awaited trip down to Washington to see my boyfriend and his family for Christmas. It was great to say the least, probably one of the best Christmases I'll remember as the years go on.
It was small and cozy, the kind where you snuggle up by the fireplace and stair at the tree as the lights twinkle. We opened prezzies and drank cocoa on the couch in the front room, followed by breakfast and some well deserved snuggling. Christmas dinner was delicious and we had a huge bird, I made my little contribution of some 5cup salad (recipe below if anyone's interested) which was devoured XP The rest of the day was filled with excitement over the new things we got and eventually some other things I wont go into haha.
-1cup of small pineapple chunks
-1cup of orange segments
-1cup of marshmallows (preferable the colored ones it makes it look waaaaay better)
-1cup shredded coconut
-1cup sour cream (sour cream? whaaa? lol bear with me its delicious)
Pretty much really easy to make, take a cup of everything, put it in a bowl, and mix the fuck out of it, stick it in the fridge to chill 3-4h or over night to let everything set properly and the marshmallows to soften up a bit. Serve and enjoy!
So I'm curious what different things people got for Christmas? Leave a comment below if ya wanna telling me a little about how your Christmas went and what loot you got :3
Woops almost forgot to tell ya what I got. My boyfriend made me a scarf, its really warm and cozy, I've been needing one forever haha. Got some magic cards and some dice, couple of shirts, and a little crank music box that plays merry Christmas that his mom handed down to me. Not a whole lot, my own blood related family didn't give me anything cause I left but *shrugs* if that's what I have to deal with it was well worth it. (I still got them gifts lol)
Murry Xmas and a Happy New Year to Everyone! *hugs and snuggles* <3
