Today's writing tip: Music.

by
I've always been fond of many different genres of music. And I certainly urge you to find and explore new styles. However, not everything is great to help you concentrate on other tasks. Most music is designed to draw in attention. Many songs beg you to listen to them with interesting riffs and lyrical content. When I find a part of a story I'm writing that requires some extra concentration I tend to pause music and wish the world quiet. But how can we as writers optimize how long we can write by listening to music?
I've always been preferential to gaming music, and other repetitive electronic tunes. I grew up play games and while I don't have much time for them any more, still enjoy playing. These tunes are meant to help with concentration on game content, and henceforth can certainly bolster your writing.

But I don't like electronic stuff! Some might ask. Where can I find music that helps me concentrate? The trick is this. Find an artist on twitch you like, and listen to the music they are playing. Many of them stream for hours, and henceforth have long playlists of music that helps with their concentration. If it can help them... it could help you. Pick what you like, make a playlist, and don't stop writing.
