Good news from the haemotology centre: my mother's myelogenous leukaemia is in remission after a barrage of 4 cytokine blasts. She is recovering happily, finally able to comfortably gorge on meals after staring herself and vomiting frequently throughout the treatment. She can't wait to go home.
