Y'know, it just occurred to me, during these times of tragedy, there's an unfortunate reality that we will soon have to face. All of us.
Whenever people are taken from us, whether it be through shootings, natural accidents, etc. You always see people in suits getting before a microphone and tell us how horrible it is, and what must be done about it. Child victims are no exception.
But you never hear anyone lament over the ugly ones.
Think about it.. Think of how lucky Obama is that every child killed under his term is beautiful. It's a fucking cakewalk for him. He gets to say with pure bureaucratic solemnity just how beautiful all of these killed children are (or were, technically). But what if some really fucking ugly, malformed and stupid kid gets hurt or shot or run over? Imagine the awkwardness he's going to have to go through when he gets on camera and is forced to tell us about that disgusting dweeb Mortimer who no one liked that got gouged by a rampaging bull on crack. Will we need to tighten our DEA regulations then?
Mark my words: Obama's day is coming, for sure. Some day he'll have to step up to that mic, look into that camera with a straight face and explain to us what a tragedy it was that Melinda, that asswipe who never wanted to do her homework, everyone hated, shatposted tit pics of her mother and father, who never cleaned up and shat in the goldfish bowl purposefully just to spite us, and who has a disfigured fifth nose on her left hip, just got caught and dragged through a gravel lift. Or maybe it was intentional. It is, after all, a possible terrorist attack.
