I've been meaning to make this journal for awhile now, but kept putting it off until a recent issue came up with a close friend and favorite artist. Yes, I am leaving inkbunny. Why? Well, there are some rules here that I haven't agreed with since I joined, but I followed them to the best of my ability, even if I didn't like them and they targeted a certain interest of mine. I was fine with it for awhile until I posted a submission that raised this issue. I'm sure anyone that knows me can guess that it's the issue of human-like characters. It's a rule that I understand and I was willing to work around, but what bugged me the most about it is that it's not a steadfast rule. It's up to interpretation and based on the mod, which is not how rules for a website should work. That's just my opinion and I'm not looking for an argument here. I don't like the rule, or how it's enforced, and after being here awhile, it has soured me greatly to this site.
Because this is an issue with me and not the people that use this site, and because I really hate it when people do this, I am not nuking my gallery. It will stay as is, but I will not be posting new content. It's sad that you have to leave, however, your reasoning is kinda the same to why I rarely visit FA. Their cub rule is very wishy-washy, probably more wishy-washier than the human rule here, especially concerning certain artists like Zaush. At least here, they actually have exceptions to the rule where 'taur humans and creatures like lamia or harpies (basically any human with at least 50% animal features) are allowed in NSFW situations.
With that being said, i'll try to give you a visit on FA, and I thank you for at least keeping your art here. You will be missed.
