Some people will block for weird reasons. Or they'll just block you even if they've never interacted with you before. I've known a few people that have had that happen.

that is quite strange, have you thought about commenting, or, actually seeing if you can comment on a total stranger's art piece? journal? I dunno, just suggesting, since it does sound like blocking, if you can't comment on anyone's then I advise contact an admin/mod
