Life updates (warning, heavy stuff and I kind of ramble on)

So, things with my mom have been on the decline. She's getting worse and finally got in touch with me about having me help care for her. So, as of today, I'm moving to Austin for a while and I'll be with my mother until the end.

It's been really hard to deal with all this. Lost my uncle in 2015 and soon I'll be losing my mother soon Could be weeks, could be months. Sadly, cancer doesn't come with a timer.

The cost of moving has been taken care of thanks to a very good friend of mine, but I have no idea what I'm going to do while I'm down there. I had to leave my job and drop everything to be able to do this. Sadly, I'm unable to transfer my job to a store down there. Something about corporate stores vs franchise.

Going to be looking in to getting my mother an apartment on the ground floor when I get there. There's no way she can handle the stairs to the third floor anymore.

I'm still kind of freaking out about all this, but I'm sure I'll manage to make it work.
