Things are finally starting to come together for me here in Oregon, so I figured it'd be good to put my thoughts down in a quick journal, mostly for my benefit, of where I'd like to be in the next few months.
I've got a commission pricing guide I've been tweaking over the past few months, and once I finish up my current plate I'll post it here and elsewhere and open up slots "officially". I really want this to happen the first week of December at the latest, but I need to do some better figuring on how long it takes for me to complete each offered style.
With that money I hope to go to FC 2012! I've got too many friends that want to see me down there for me to not make a push to see it. I'm way too late to get a table, but that won't stop me from at least printing out some business cards and handing them out.
...Which means I should probably finish my web site, or at least get it to the point where it's useful. Maybe that'll get done before I leave back to Utah for Christmas stuffs.
Also, I've been thinking it over for a while, and I've decided that, for now, when commissions open up, I won't be taking any adult ones. There's a lot of reasons for this. I don't object to pornography, and I encourage people to enjoy it, but I'm just not in the position right now to draw it.
I'm hoping to resurrect Free Sketch Fridays this week, except I'll be opening up a tip jar just in case people want to toss a bit of cash my way. It doesn't have to be anything extravagant; a dollar or two is fine by me. I have to start balancing my need to get my art out there quickly and easily with my need for money. I'm pretty damn poor right now (lawl, poor and wanting to go to FC, I'm such a furry!)
As for what's happening with Service Guarantees Wings, I'm still tapping out some story stuffs. I want to post some more concept art soon, probably when I get its page finished on my web site. Stay tuned!
