The news is causing a riot among fishermen and my people for the last week. This factory's been dumping unprocessed chemical water into the sea, causing the fish to die en masse. The poisoned water's spreading from Ha Tinh to Vinh Lang Co, as shown in the picture.
Only that steel factory publicly arrogantly admitted to it, they wanted us to choose between steel, and fish. "You can't have both", they said. Our government has been trying to do something about it, but so far fish are still dying, and the people are too desperate, some of them even had to scoop up those death fish to sell, knowing they're poisoned.
This isn't just a matter of my own country anymore, it's becoming the world's problem. The sea is big, but not that big, sooner or later those chemical is going to spread further, and the entire ocean will be poisoned = bye-bye fishy.
I need your help. In anyway you can, spread the word, draw attention from the UN, from WHO, whatever works. In the mean time, there's a petition you can sign to help bringing this to the world's leaders: https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/help-vietname...
