Though rather than use that as my sole excuse or even come up with a excuse for not keeping everyone updated here I'm just going to straight up say I have not been very good at posting journals here among a few other sites I post to and I'm sorry for that. Though here on out I'm going to try and start posting journals here.
In other news I've finally after many many years of patiently waiting and admiring them I have gotten myself a lightbox and I must say I'm loving it and it's really making my art look that much better. I've also learned some new tricks in illustrator so now I can do vector line art. I'm still playing around with it though. I may not do all my line art as vectors though I think it's a great touch it seems to make my badge look more professional and it makes the color work a lot nicer. On the subject of line art I've also gotten myself some new pens that I'm enjoying working with. I still need practice with them but it and the lightbox have really helped me with making better artwork. I'm feeling like I have a strong start on keeping up my new years resolution.
As for the non art related news. I got my fursuit head I commissioned last year and I am loving it I can't wait to wear it to FWA and just to the next meet and other events in general. I've already gotten to suit in the snow and oh my gosh the airflow is a thousand times better than with the mask I made myself.

It was made by CityMuttFursuits. She's a amazing skilled artist. She was able to translate Takeshi's complex markings into a beautiful fursuit head and I just love the mask to death and I can't wait to wear it everywhere I can. It fits so well, it's lightweight, the jaw even moves in sync with my own. I love how she handled his horns and fangs. I don't have to worry about breaking anything really it's awesome. I highly recommend commissioning her.
Keep an eye out for art. I have quite a few pieces ready to be posted soon. Hopefully soon I'll be all caught up and can start taking on new projects. I'm also planning to put together a official price sheet soon. That's been my goal for a while though I'm feeling like I really need to get one if I plan to get commissions especially since I'm thinking of doing Artist Alley at FWA this year.
One last thing. I'd love to hear what you all would like to see me post here? Though I'm fine with just a comment of hi or whatever. Another of my new years resolutions was to try and interact more with my watchers.
