Best movie score ever?

I collect movie scores, and have since I was in high-school (played in the concert band), and have over the decades developed a few favorite composers, being Jerry Goldsmith, John Williams, Basil Polidoreis and even Alan Silvestri. Of all my favorite movie scores, I think  the best are:

Star Trek, The Motion Picture by Jerry Goldsmith, specifically the track entitled "The Enterprise". It is a beautiful piece of music, and can stand alone, even if it were not a movie score.

Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, the track entitled "Duel of the Fates" by John Williams, is so full of energy and power it gives me chicken skin..

Saving Private Ryan, the track called "Hymn To The Fallen" by John Williams. When you think about what this music was intended to be, it brings tears to my eyes, knowing it is a tribute to all the soldiers who have sacrificed all for we who are not worthy.

Back to the Future, specifically the main anthem that resounds through all three films, is a wonderfull and light heros theme, and can get your blood pumping as the action builds on screen.

These are my favorites, please share yours?

Transformers: The Original Animated Film - Vince DiCola plays the best melodic synth, and whenever I hear Dare or The Touch, you know shit's gonna get done.

The Princess Bride - Sweeping, symphonic, with punctuated highs and lows. so good I use it when I run Dungeons and Dragons

Megas XLR - not a movie, but it had enough great music to warrant it. an extremely broad range of music from punk to country, all set well to the show's hot, fast, and loose premises.

Rocky IV - I... really like Vince DiCola, okay?

Yup, I got that sountrack as well, and "The Touch" is a great piece of music, as were the synthesizer battle scenes. Though, "Dare to be Stupid" by Wierd Al was a nice touch for the Junkions.

Pokemon the movie 2000 - Lugia's song
It has a haunting melodie to it that I cannot forget, even though I have only seen the movie once. In general though, I like most of the music contained in the movie. I hapen to be a fan of up-tempo music with a good bass line or beat.

Transformers (the one made recently) - has some decent music in it that sparks memories of childhood, as well as some newer ones I simply enjoy.

Chobits - Dark chii theme - not a movie, but the song is dark and emotional, and conveys the feelings of being lost and trapped, but finding the one person who can set you right.

Ghost in the Shell: Innocence - Tachikoma's farewell The song that those little robots sing before their big scene always moves me to tears. Great at conveying the emotions for loss and sacrifice.

I have the original (Arnold S) Conan score. It's one of my favorites. "Riddle of Steel" is one of the better cuts.

Call me furfag, but for me the best movie scores ever are The Little Mermaid's and The Lion King's ^^

After that, I'd vote for Dancing with Wolves (wait, that also sounds furry D: but it was unintentional!)

Little Mermaid and Lion King are quite magnificent scores, and Dances with Wolves is a great score as well. I have all three on CD.
