It's that time of year again and I thought I'd just put an update on here because I don't talk very much. Mostly because it takes me like 30 minutes to expertly critique and properly grammar everything I write to make sure it comes across the way I want it to. And that is usually way too much trouble. So you can imagine why I don't make journals very often. Still going to college. I have my Anatomy and Physiology final on the Dec 7th and my birthday is on Dec 5th. I'll be 22. Weeiiiiirrrrrrddddd.
I keep thinking about doing a comic, I want to, but I'm so picky and lose motivation quickly so I have to try and think of something I'll stick to. Like...I have 11 half finished pages of comic just sitting on my computer. Just sitting there. I got bored of it and moved on. Part of the problem is again the writing. While I have great stories and I tell great stories live in person, that doesn't always translate to paper well, especially when it comes to story fluency. I'm not bad, but it could be better. Frankly it would be nice if I had stupid rapper money (def: stupid amounts of money that famous rappers have from their careers.) then I would just pay someone to edit that shit for me and clean it up. But I don't have stupid rapper money, so I'll just have to learn like a pilgrim. Ugh. Learning sucks.
Did you know that existed, I sure as hell didn't. That's cool as hell. The person running it is cool as hell for doing it too. It must take a lot of effort to run something that NEAT! I hope you can tell that I am excited and impressed about this whole ordeal. How did I miss out on this last year? What the hell? Anyone can participate as long as your willing to keep up your end of the bargain and make art for someone else as well. I mean it's practically a mini art trade convention (you can also do writing and AMVs), but who's art you get is a secret. You put in an entry form with your name and what medium you do, (if there is anything you won't draw you put that down) and then you put what kind of art you would like to receive. more info on it on the actual tumblr.
It's going to be fun and I hope I see some of my fellow artsy Sonic fans there.
It'll be another long time before you get any kind of journal like this again I'm sure (I try not to make promises) so have a very merry Christmas, (or whatever you do or don't celebrate, I just want you to have a good time ♡＼(￣▽￣)／♡) and a happy new year.
