Okay, well, there shall be sketches. Here's why.

You all seem to be in favour of me posting my sketches here, and I shall... =)

But, here's where they came from.

As an artist, and as a furry, I’ve always had a huge problem with getting out of my comfort zone, and stepping outside of the kinds of things others expect of me.

Every time i draw I do tend to try and push the boundaries of my own ability and techniques and whatnot, but its always the same old general stuff. Same goes for the way i portray my character and role-play and whatnot.

In some cases, its because of fear or nervousness or timidity… in other cases, its a genuine lack of imagination, where i don’t even consider or think about other stuff that I’ve not done before.

I’ve always been quite envious of people who don’t have these problems, who are always able and excited and happy to try new things and experiment with different shapes and sizes and species and forms for their characters. Its something I’ve kinda vainly wished I was able to do for a long time, caused no end of angst.

But, just the last few days, with a little help from a couple of friends… trying to change that, a tiny bit.

So you can expect to start seeing some doodles posted up here, of fresh new stuff for my character.

If you’re not interested, well, just….. skip =)

Good to see you trying to expand your skillset. I myself was stuck for a while until I inked some of Joykill's pieces. Which is also something I was never comfortable with. Now I have a bit more skills to work with and it shows in my newest pieces. I hope you achieve similar results.
