Moving plans but need help. Please.

So I know this will sound like a super bold statement coming from a fur that hasn't been able to keep to their promises of new chapters and that hasn't posted anything in months but I thought it would be worth a shot. After all, better to try than to give up at the beginning. So here's the situation:

Me and my mate plan to move in together in mid-January of next year however our current financial situation isn't the best. I'll be planning to get a job near where we plan to move within the next couple weeks which worst case scenario will be a minimum wage job with little to no benefits. Now combining that with my mate's monthly income which he barley manages to survive on as he lives off of disability we are hitting a rough patch. We need help being able to pay for the beginning costs such as electricity start-up, internet, furniture, U-Haul rental, food, etc..

Now I know the logical thing would be to say to wait a few more months until we have the money saved up but that sadly isn't an option for either of us. My mate lives in a somewhat abusive household of which he has no where to run off to to get away from without being homeless (which he actually has been homeless before living out on the streets) and myself who is a college student who is planning this move between semesters to be closer to college. The only other next available move date for either of us would be in June and my mate is unable to hold out until then. As I type this my mate and I are both in a Skype call trying to figure things out and he is honesty tearing himself apart to the point I'm afraid that he's going to commit suicide.

In the end it comes down to this: we need some help and here's the (approx.) numbers we're looking at.

U-Haul = $500
Transportation to get my mate = $100
Security Deposit = $250
Internet = $80 (this can wait honestly though)
Food = $150
Home Depot Truck Rental = $100 - $700 (Depends how long we need it)
Additional Costs = $500

Total = $1680 - $2280

Every little bit counts so I you can spare a few dollars that would be a huge help to both of us. And please if you could spread the word that would be even more helpful. Again I know it's a LOT to ask for considering my activity here but that's only because I've been so busy with being a full-time Pre-Nursing Student as well as a lot of family related matters going on as well it's quite overwhelming.
