Well, I don't clearly remember what I was thinking exactly when I watched them both. When I did watch them though, I felt the relations between both these duos.
Spare me if it sounds moody, but I want to share how much love I have for these shows. Through my years of realizing orientation and what I feel happy with, THESE shows were like Humorous soap operas.
And though I have still yet to even start a relationship with a man yet, these two are the kind of ideal and cherished thoughts I would hope to have with them.
Pinky and the Brain: Trying to take over the world, be the top of the brackets, and simply falling on our faces, but taking it in stride because all they really need is each other in the end of the day.
Ren and Stimpy: Dealing with the uncomfortable, completely chaotic, and imperfect world we live in, and that live in our partner, seeing through everything to sleep in the same room again regardless.
This was a massive structure that I built on my romantic hopes, that only demands the untiring connection between each other, and I still feel the same today.
I hope others know this feeling, because I will admit, I don't always think I will meet my Ren, or Bain.
On a adorable and endearing end note. This is the most romantic story I've ever seen from a childish cartoon, and I would love to share it to anyone who hasn't seen it.
