I met the artist who uses the name "Cris" or "Crislj" on FA, at ECCC this spring. We'd been talking e-mail for some time. Cris likes a good 'loss of innocence' story, but is reluctant to do much 'cub,' and prefers woman in the noose who know what they are getting into. I don't much care what age my victims are, or how willing they are.
But our discussion, and me putting up the story "Aimee," made me think about it. In real life, none of this is acceptable. In real life, children should not be sexualized; and any parent, guardian or trusted adult who does, deserves to have the full weight of the law dropped on his head! Aimee at least had the option of making an informed decision. In the story "Cheri's Daughter," Cheri is a sociopath, a villain and a murderer, who really ought to be taken out herself before she hurts anyone else.
Anyway . . . We talked about maybe me doing stories in Cris's "Slaves of Thurld" world, and Cris doing stories in my "Culling Act" world. But Cris hasn't put pencil to paper in months. I want to see more Cris art! We need to encourage that.
