First of all: I know I haven't been very active with submissions here lately, however, I have been nosing around a lot :)
Anyway: to the point.
Some of you might have seen the commissions post I put up yesterday, and later on deleted. I wanted to clear this up with you all.
I opened up these commissions because my camera is dying, and as a photographer, you just can't show up with shitty quality photographs, so I was hoping to work on some commissions to earn some money for a new camera, to add to my savings.
However, a couple days ago I hurt my hand on an old injury, where I nearly severed a tendon in my hand some years ago. Finding out I couldn't even properly hold a pen or write, I decided to take down these commissions for the time being and see a doctor the next morning. Today is that next morning, and I went to see the doctor. The doctor confirmed my suspicions, it is the tendon again, however, this time it's only damaged, not as bad as it was some years ago. It should heal faster than it did last time, back then I was unable to draw for nearly a year. The doctor estimated this to be better in about 3 - 4 months, if it gets enough rest, which means, considering it's my dominant hand, I simply can't draw without making things worse.
I am very sorry to close my commissions and disappoint those who messaged me about it. However, once my hand is better, I will open these same commissions up again and there will be a do-over.
In the meantime, I am going to think of a different way to earn some money to finance my new camera. I am also going to focus on getting my hand better as soon as possible.
