Unfortunately, I was only able to go for one day, and then, the girls decided they were tired! After just a couple hours!! Next year will be full weekend with room - they an go get some sleep, while I visit and do things!! UGH!! Teenagers are supposed to have more energy than a 40 year old!!! NOPE!
1~ Raithian - Got to meet the albino reptile once again, and hung out, talking with him in suit and out of suit. He's a sweetheart. If you ever get a chance to go to a con that he's at, say hi!
2~ Fursuit Parade - We got there just before parade started, and got to videotape it from in front of the registration desk. Unfortunately, it is in two parts, since my phone battery died, and I had to take over the video on my daughter's phone. I got lots of high fives, a sore arm (from holding it in one place for a long time), and some hugs - even had one suiter come back for me when they came back in.
3~ Syrae-Universe - Got to meet her in the Artist's Alley. She was fun and awesome. Helped me charge my phone until I could find a plug to charge up at. Luckily for me, the girls decided to make sandwiches and bring up food, so we had some cash to spend, and when I brought the food in from the car, I made sure to feed a hungry Syrae too.
4~ Carrie_Caracal - OMG this girl is a blast!! We finally got to hang out in the afternoon and chatted about things while the teens were head down on a table - well, one of them anyway. The other was on my phone on Kik - AFTER I got her to take a pic of me and Carrie together.
5~ Tracer - This guy was cool as fuck. I'm sending my healing energy his way, due to some health issues he's had over the last year, but he was fun to talk to and hang out with.
We left before the dance competition, which started at 6 pm. And missed my friend, Massir, by a few minutes (he got there 15 minutes before the dance comp started - by which time, the girls and I had passed all the Orlando/Disney exits on I-4 heading back to Tampa).
