I don't suppose any of my watchers/friends has a patreon that they get funding from (so I guess I'm sort of talking to the artists among us) who would be willing to explain things to me? I'm interested in an abridge, honest explanation of the rules and expectations of someone who wants to have one. I have been working on a new YouTube channel (I have a lot of balls in the air, I know) and I don't think I have enough on hand to do a kickstarter (have no idea what's required there either, but I imagine I'd need to have something to show for it before I could) and would like to get some help in hopes of acquiring some equipment, costumes, effects, assistance if necessary since I'm not an artist just a writer and actor and there for can't really draw, design, create by hand, draw, or anything else that doesn't involve research, writing, performing, or singing.
