So I had a plan to deal with these exorbitant student loans until August. I haven't been able to pay them, because I just don't make enough to cover them AND my living expenses. I will be able to once the new school year starts, which will be fantastic (I am so thankful for this job). So my plan was to not pay them, and take advantage of this program they have. Where if I set myself up on automatic payment and make 3 payments on automatic payment, it will bring my account current and not hurt my credit score. So I was just going to set myself up on automatic payment in early August, which would avoid any credit score reporting, and catch me up on payments. However, that was with my plan of getting paid at the end of July with the new salary. I was just informed that I won't be getting those bigger paychecks until the end of August. If I don't make a payment by August 10th, they will report it on my credit score. This isn't good, because it will make it harder for me to buy a house in a couple years.
So yeah, I really need to come up with some money to make one payment before August 10th. The bad news is that that one payment is going to cost $285. And that's after I already paid $50 on it when I could! This is how much ONE of my student loans costs each month :( I also have $150/month with another company, and $250 with a third. It's so hard on my budget. I've been paying small amounts on them when I can, but it's so overwhelming.
I just have to make it until the end of August. Then I'll be okay.
So if you have any extra money and have been wanting to commission me, please consider doing that now, to help me raise this $285 I need. To hopefully get more commissions, I'm keeping this special running until I raise the money.:
