Censorship, and logic. [discussion]

Okay, let me get this straight.

It's..WRONG of me to censor adult art that I am taking precious time out of my scholastic schedule to make for people, for ONE (1) dollar and twenty five cents, so that I may make a dollar profit on each sale, which is ALSO of a MUCH higher resolution than the censored image (a customer gets 4000x5000 rez)

It's "asinine" of me to want to make some money so that I can afford small things at college alongside my 6 hour work-study job, which is all I can get with financial aid, and frankly all I can commit with my schedule.

It's wrong of me to want to veg out and draw every so often while making a bit of profit from it, because commissions are stressful at this time, and I've chosen to cancel them and instead, offer a wide range (hopefully soon) of characters to see adult art of for a VERY cheap price.

What is the logic. Seriously. I hear people complaining left and right over my censorship, and I want to understand this logic.

Well, I respect you wanting to earn moneys for your uncensored pics, but since it's not a common practice, you gotta deal with the complaints, which will prolly origin in:

1 - The fact that very few people (if anybody else) does it.
2 - The fact that people like to see what they're buying before buying it. Nobody likes to pay, even 1 dollar, for a penis they don't fancy :3
3 - I think your art is quite good and cute, but if all you're gonna upload is censored pics of your adult work, I won't watch you and less fav them. I don't like getting teased. So, less exposure for you = less popularity.
4 - I saw on one of your submissions that you got a FA account, but it must be under a different user name (unless you cleaned it up), but you don't have your FA account published here, so those of us who would like to see more of your stuff or style since we dunno you from before, can't, so.. same comsequence as in #3.
5 - Most people don't care about anybody else's personal circumstances, they just want free porn, free sites, free everything. When they don't get what they want, they'll complain. Dunno how many sells you made with this. The question is.. is it more profitable than it'd be to just display your porn fully and then open for commisions, like everybody else does? (or leave the payed option for the extra-large, printable versions). Is it worthy for you to bear with all of that complaints vs the sales you made? Did everybody/most of people who got one, get the rest or at least more?

There you go, I just wanted to try to put myself in the skin of those who complain, since all I saw here were supporting comments. Now you have both points of view :)

Edit to the previous post: I already found you on FA, after trying your twitter name. So you're a fairly popular artist there and you got uncensored versions of your old art and it seems you prefer to do what you want and charge for it rather than do what someone else wants who pays for it alone. Well, your choice, but in a nutshell: if people complaint, don't complain yourself. People is not always wrong or just a bunch of perverts and egoist dudes, or maybe yes, they (we) are, but the final reason why you're doing this is to raise funds for your college life. Will this solution serve your purposes for a while? What will its comsequences be in the long run for you?

I changed my practices from taking commission (drawing other people's desires) because I am at college, and I don't like the pressure CURRENTLY of having to draw for other people in a timely manner. This is a way for me to compromise, still draw for people, in a way that works out for me financially as well. I run a very hectic and busy schedule. I am co-captain, therefore I essentially co-manage a Kendo Club/dojo, I'm vice president of an art fraternity, I'm doing 16 credits with art classes (VERY time consuming), with a part-time job. I like drawing, but I also like making money on the side. I don't think there's anything wrong with that, and I think I have every right to complain that people are too spoiled on the internet.

I've skimmed through most of the comments and at times like these I'm glad I'm the type of fur that doesn't care about time constraints when it comes to commissions because I care for the artist that go out of their busy schedule to draw. As far as paying $1.25 each to see the uncensored version in Hur-Dur* I say go for it. It's your art, therefore you make the call. This isn't one of those sex paysites that they pay $30 a week for five pictures. I think it's the fact that they can't add your art to the collection because the bits are blurry/boxed out is what's causing them to complain.

*Just poking fun at "High-Definition"
