Well the interview two days ago went fairly well. Though it was kind of off. Mostly because it wasn't like any interview I've ever had before. Because it wasn't formal at all. He never looked at the actual papers they usually have or print out and he didn't ask me any of the usual questions.
Though either way he asked me to come in again yesterday to speak with one of the other managers. In part because he didn't know much about fish himself, but this other manager did. Which that interview went fairly well as well. The few questions that he did ask me about fish he was impressed that I knew that much and I gave him better answers than anyone he's interviewed. So he said as far as he's concerned it's a yes. He just has to talk to that other manager again and they'll get back to me again in a few days.
So by the sounds of it this is actually going to work out. Which makes me keep laughing at work now because it's already gone back to me doing everyone's work and picking up after everyone. Along with how everyone is oh so happy that I'm back at work again. Though it's mostly because of that part. The fact that I do my job compared to most other people. Though I know it'll never amount to anything there. Plus I don't think they expect me to quit anytime soon. Especially with it being so close to the busy time of year for most store. But oh well though shit for them.
But as far as the job I'd be their aquatics specialist. Which they said it's essentially a step right under management and I'd be doing basically everything that I was doing while at Petsmart. So it really wouldn't be that hard to get used to. Along with the store being a lot smaller will make it easier as well. Along with I think I'll be getting a bit more pay than I'm making at Target too and it'll be full time. And unless I heard wrong I think he said that benefits are given to you. So if that's true that'll be good as well.
But I know I don't want to jump the gun on anything. Because I know I have a tendency to do that and then get disappointed. But for a change I think I actually can. So if all of this works out I'll be out of Target by the end of this month or the very beginning of this.
