What I like about Cream

One of the the things that makes her character interesting to me is that I can use her ears to add emphasis to  gestures and emotions . If you look at  the cream-sad drawing in my gallery, you can see that her ears mirror her eyebrows. In the sketch I just posted, even though she's asleep, she has one ear is positioned so she can hear sonic breathing, secure that he hasn't left her.The ears can also be used like hair; to cover an eye, like veronica lake, or to cover anything else that might need to be obscured!
I can't help it... I think about stuff like that

That's a normal reaction for a good artist, because awareness and attention to details like you mentioned are what makes static art and especially animations more real, more believable, because if you imagine that she would do it, then she must do it, because that's how you designed her to be. Inconsistent reactions by the subject are a distraction for the viewer at best, and a disappointing failure at worst that would drive your audience away because it makes the artist look either like a childish amateur or a careless fool. Life occurs for reasons which the careful observer notices. The good artist knows this and includes it in their work. :3

truly a comment worthy of Will Eisner himself. :) Kudos!( I wonder why I heard Jon Lovitz's voice in my head when I typed that "Kudos" that can't be good)
