Advice Please

I know this is a silly ? , but how do I mark my notices as 'read'? I read every comment and I don't want anyone to think their comments are being ignored even if I don't necessarily respond.A lot of times i get called away from the computer by other tasks or am otherwise distracted .

I think deleting the notices is quite ok, people don't expect 100% of their comments to get replied to :-)
sometimes a comment is pretty simple, so no real need to reply on those
