Account Name Change! To FabledFeeling

Hi everyone. Heads up that I have changed my username from Logioh to FabledFeeling!

Since I do mostly SFW posts on Logioh at other sites for all audiences, I would prefer to keep my NSFW under a different handle to prevent any crossing. That's mostly so my younger audience doesn't stumble upon stuff they shouldn't see yet until they're older if they search "Logioh" in Google or other social sites I'm on, but also if you really just want to look for NSFW stuff and nothing else so you'd search my new username.

Make sense? Cool! I like FabledFeeling more anyway. Thanks for your patience! This should really be the last change.

what you fail to realize is that trick doesn't work.  there are plenty of artists who I like and follow, especially on DeviantArt, that are tame artists, but I've come across their NSFW pieces,  mainly because I have recognized their art style.  odds are, they will ask you about it.  personally, when I found out about it, I simply gave them pats on the back mainly because I didn't care.  if you lose followers because of something like "big kids material", then they were never followers of you anyway.  art is art, mature or not, at the end of the day

This isn't a trick and I'm afraid I wasn't clear enough with my point. I don't mind if someone recognizes my art and links to my mature art. If anything, I'd love that, I would like more attention to my art whether it is SFW or NSFW. If someone viewing my SFW art likes mature art and finds my NSFW art, Awesome! If they like my NSFW art and find my SFW account, awesome again, that's wonderful!

The problem lies in the people that re-post art without permission on websites that are completely open without protection such as Furaffinity in that you have to login and put permission to view mature work and then view other accounts. My IB and FA accounts can only be viewed by members of that community with NSFW content turned on and that works fine.

However, on DeviantArt for instance, I have a following on my clean username and some of that audience is young. If they search my name or tag for that username in say Tumblr or online, I would prefer if they only saw my clean work since chances are they just want to see the cute drawings I make. However, with my previous username on FA and on here, people tagged that same name with the NSFW material that can't reliably be blocked from a Google search, on Tumblr, Wildcritters and other websites that people decide to upload art and if they choose to put the username. So, with that regard, if someone were to use my FabledFeeling user account name and upload my works from FA or IB, then searching that name should only produce those NSFW artworks.

So, that's the difference friend, I want searching for either username to only produce clean or NSFW material for the public image of who I'm watching. If someone wants to find my NSFW stuff, by all means they're welcome too, but if a kid just wants to look at cute pokemon drawings, plays my flash games and they search my clean username, I would prefer if they only saw clean material. Not to mention, my other username is used for everything I do online, so I would like to keep it clean for the most part and if someone wants to dig deeper and find this account then it was by choice and not by an accidental search. Plus, I have some projects I want to post on DA at one point and if it reaches the audience I want, I would prefer if only that stuff appears next to that username, yuh know?

actually, you stated my point of response, and I get it.  you would rather your brats see your friendly material over your "big kids material".  but keep in mind that eventually your young audience will find the not-so-young material for them

That's a little harsh, just because you don't care what age you would have been exposed to mature material doesn't mean I don't have respect for my audience's choices.  Sure, one day they will see mature work, and if they find and turn to mine, I look forward to it, but everyone develops differently and at their own pace.

And besides that, again, I have some work I want to create linked to my other username that I'm hoping would attract attention, and unfortunately not everyone is open minded enough to respect an artist's choice to draw both clean and mature items. Somehow, it is seen as deviant and "taints" the clean work, which is their opinion and not one I share. So, if they find my NSFW on their own, then they were looking and that's there thing, but for the most part I rather them have to look for it than a search tags to be so quick to the draw showing both without a filter. And hey, if they find my NSFW and don't like my art suddenly, that's their prerogative and I don't care.

okay, I wasn't trying to be harsh with that response. and I do actually care, because, well, it happened to me.

one of my people who knew my writing style recognized me from fanfiction before I got banned for the political content of some of my stories, which were also deleted, and they found out about it from my scriptwriting for PALcomix.  I was rather shocked at that, and then said follower lost all respect for me when the person had admired me. it isn't my intent on being harsh... or an asshole, and it's not to say this result that I had will be the exact result that happens to you, it could very well be different.  it sucks when you find out that a follower of you is an actual biggot, or worse, a hypocrite.

That's understandable, sorry to hear about that. There's a lot of hypocritical people out there, and it shows you who your true friends and watchers are when they can respect what you like to do whether or not it's something they particularly care for. That person was unjust with what they did, and if you are part of another project outside of your NSFW projects others should not treat you differently for what you like to do; besides that, I'm sure most people that don't post what they like publicly have some of their own skeletons in the closet so to speak, if not more disturbing things they do that they make up for by shaming others and their likes.

And besides that, betrayal is never fun, I've had plenty of betrayals online and offline for multiple reasons. Three years of writing work with a group of friends was deleted by a hacker because he didn't like one of our friends, and that work never had a backup so it's gone forever. It's hard, but you just gotta remember that your work, whether it is clean or kinky, it's yours and you should be proud of it. We all have the capability to enjoy so many different things in many ways, and it makes us no less important for enjoying them even if they are odd or uncomfortable to others.

So, if someone does stumble upon my NSFW material and treat me differently for it, then they were never worth my time. If they find it and enjoy it, more power to them, I might like them more for it. For the most part though, some people just care about art and don't want to see a sexual side to it, and I respect them for that as well, which is why out of respect I want to have my accounts separated so there isn't much crossing. I still have a bridge in accounts saying "hey, my NSFW material is over here, and from there my SFW is over there" and its up to them if they want to click it. It's the least I can do but it goes a long way, to me at least. I'm not bothered by artists and what they like, because if I like some of their artwork then I like it, I don't have to like other artwork they make if its not my thing and I don't have to treat them differently because of what they make. That's the beauty of creative expression. Thanks for your worry though, but I understand what I'm getting into and feel pretty prepared for it.
