Why not leave the account active and post publically that you won't be using the site anymore? That way people can still see and fave your art and find you as well :3

I've done that for old accounts on both FA and DA, so its a win-win You don't have to deal with the hassle of deactivation (cause sometimes it can be a hassle) and people can still see your art and find you :D
Just be sure to make it clear on your profile/journal/submission so people can find you.
