You know what that is?
It's the sound of people upset about their art getting stolen, but then doing the same things.
For example, DVDs and Blu-rays always have this copyright screen at the beginning that says that redistribution or broadcast is forbidden without permission. By technicality, this applies to streaming movies. How can a furry artist be upset at their work bring used without permission when they do the same thing?
Another example, making money off copyrighted characters. You realize that Hasbro losses out when someone makes and sells a plush Rainbow Dash. But I guess that dissent supply either because fuck Hasbro.
I see furries being commonly two-faced. They only complain about laws when they are wronged, but hesitate not to violate character copyright.
It good to draw pictures of your favorite animated characters. That's not a problem, but when you produce goods with copyrighted characters on them, you are wrong.
I don't take any of the winging about "my art got stolen/is bring used without my permission" seriously. How can I take you seriously if you are selling dakimakura of a well known character, but cry when someone else has improperly used your work?
When more people realize how two-faced this behavior is, and they try to control it, then I will support you. But otherwise, please be aware that I snicker when you complain about stolen art, but then steal too.
