Though technically I'm a day late now, but I've always been pretty bad at remembering dates. But he was one of the few celebrities that actually upset me when he had died. Because it's not like he just made music or was in movies or whatever he actually tried doing something and him becoming famous was just a side effect of what he was doing. But he was also the only celebrity that I would want to meet and it's because of who he was and what he did. The fact that he could entertain people and that you could learn a lot from what he did. It was one of the main shows that I would always make sure to watch on Animal Planet. I know once he died they showed his series for a short while after still, though they ended up killing it off at one point. And honestly after that I've watched Animal Planet less and less. I know it's in part because of them kind of changing the station and adding other shows to it that didn't really interest me. But his show was one of the main things that always kept me watching the station.
So like I said when I found out all those years ago that he had died it just killed me. That and I know it surprised a lot of people as to how it happened. Though it's just one of those freak things really that no one saw coming.
The one thing though that even though he's gone his memory and legacy will continue on. Because I know his children will continue doing what he did...maybe not to his exact level, but you know what I mean. ^^; Along with I know there's plenty of other people that will continue helping in the way that they can. I know I always try to do what I can when I can. Even if someone gets on my case at times because I'll go around after it rains and get the toads and such off of the road. ^^; Though at the same time I don't think I've taken my Wildlife Warriors bracelet off for at least several years now. In part though because I broke one of the ones I had because of having to take it off and put it back on. So I just tend to keep it on anymore at least until it decides to just fall off.
