This is not a 'next week' kind of thing, but I'm thinking about starting a commission series similar to final destination. How would it work? I think the best way to do it is that each person who would want to be in it, would fill out a brief questionairre about their character or the character they'd like to have in it. If multiple commissioners want to see the same character, they could combine for one.
The first chapter - the intro, as it were - would have all of those characters in it, adn they would all die in the 'disaster'. At that point, you would actually put money into the commission. If you decide you want out - congrats, you got your character killed in some terrible way for free. If you want in, you give as much money as you want, to stay in. You would decide how much.
Ways that they would die: Well, this is a furry story series, and I always write porn. There may be a few straight up deaths, but some would be tongue in cheek, and some would definitely be sexual in nature. IE, someone who has a fetish for being orgasmed to death may find themselves attached to a cow milker that's shorting out and sucking their insides out (pleasurable, of course :isanerd:)
I would not reveal how much anyone has given, but the amount that was spent on the commission would determine 'deaths list'. The more money that is given, total, the more the characters will find out about the situation. IE, if everyone sends one dollar, they will all be killed off before the second chapter is over. If enough is reached to make the series a non-bust, then the characters would start figuring out what is going on, see 'the list', etc, and be able to fight back - not that fighting back ever helps. ;)
Why you would want to send more - The questionairre you fill out will involve questions like your characters worst nightmare, your preferred methods of seeing them killed, greatest fantasy, stuff like that. Those will all factor into what happens to your character. Each character's death will be more and more in line with what i imagine the player would most like to read about.
Another reason to send more - It would help my sister, which all commission money goes towards. :3

I'm in! I'd think a reasonable commission rate fr part of a large project like this would range between 5-20$ depending on how far they made it and how explicit their death was.

I was going to try making a Final Destination joke... by saying I forsee all our deaths if you start this series, but in turn it stops you from doing the series, but that's the premise of the whole series that we die because you never started the commission series, and we all had to die other was because of it...? But you can see why it got so coonfusing to me. :D
