Yes, I love the Animaniacs. Best show EVER :V <3
So as some of you may know, I'm going into nursing. I wasn't getting anywhere trying to find a job as a recording engineer. Too difficult a job market, and entirely based on connections. Not being qualified in anything else, I needed to find something.
So today I registered for CNA classes and start later this month! :3
My brother (who is an EMT, and looking to go to med school) is the one who suggested nursing. You can start as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) after just a few months of classes. It has great job security and high demand. I'd be making more than I do now, and many hospitals will pay for further classes and training, meaning I could get a better job in the future.
So, it may not be my first choice as a career. In my current job as a cashier, I honestly hate dealing with people sometimes. But I think that's the nature of the environment and the customers. I feel like I would be much more sympathetic to someone suffering and grateful than someone who's irrational and a bitch >.> I like to think that in a hospital people would appreciate the work you do more, and would also be nicer about it. So maybe it could be a rewarding experience. Being able to actually help people instead of just being a slave, chained to a register. Honestly anything is better than that lol never work retail if you can help it >.< So while I'm sure being a CNA must suck at times, I'm sure it's not all bad. And it's the start of a new career pathway, and hopefully eventually a better life :3 So even if I came to it out of a need for a better career and direction, and a need to do something with my life, I don't think it's all that bad ^^ in fact I'm kinda excited :D
