The reason I haven't been drawing lately

by
My art program's been having random lag sessions where when I try to draw, it lags severely and I have to wait for my stroke to slowly catch up to my mouse or else it'll become a straight line to wherever my cursor ends up... coincidentally TF2 and Garry's Mod have been doing the same.

I have a hard enough time concentrating on one project/task at a time, what with TF2, FFTA2 (replaying), UTAU/music ideas, Esperanto, and wanting to make stories in addition to pictures. Now I have to wade through lag that I have no idea why it's even there.

FFFFFFFミ゚皿゚;彡FFFFFFF

Oh well, life is still good, and Esperanto is still fun to learn. HINT HINT NUDGE NUDGE.

Also wanting to connect with my inner dragonfly. (*´▽`*)ノ

Eeep. Not sure why some of your programs would be lagging o.o Maybe your computer has a virus? Or maybe the art program, TF2 and Garry's Mod take up a bit too much memory; I found that when I used Photoshop, it look up a lot of memory and crashed any other art program I tried to use and the newer version of MSN lagged like heck until I down-graded it again. Maybe you just need to free up some space on your computer. Though I can't say I really know about these things, sorry D:

I totally understand the wanting to do so many things at once though! A lot of the time I'm wanting to draw, animate, comic, and write stories all at the same time and then end up doing nothing because I can't choose what I want to do OTL

What's Esperanto out of curiosity? o:

Esperanto's a language created in the late 1800's, by a guy from Europe who was tired of language barriers. It's an attempt at an international language. (not worldwide, everyone would ideally speak their native tongue)

It's not "ideal" in some ways, and a lot of people have tried to refine it, but only normal Esperanto has really gotten popular enough to be taken seriously as an international project. It's easy to learn compared to natural languages, though, since it's simple and you can make words more naturally.

Supposedly learning it makes learning real foreign languages easier (opening your mind and such), so I find that as an excuse to do it, since I like geeky things anyways. ( ´ ▽ ` )

I had a lag like that on my old computer when i tried to animate flash, you probably need a memory card upgrade to give your computer new life http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/it...
If you have a desktop, you can install the chip yourself, just be careful of electrical shocks, otherwise, a laptop, you'd have to see a computer specialist to install a new one.

Laptop, actually my mom's, she gets things like computers when she gets tax returns and such, and never uses them. An older 256-meg-ram PC that I used to use died on me some months ago...

I've been seriously wanting to get a better computer, I'd love to arrange my own barebones style, but it's hard finding a job around here... And even if I did have the job, complicated issues on the money and moving out.

Back to the computer issue, I'm mainly talking about how it randomly has lag spikes, even when I'm not running much at all, and how it just started this recently. σ(・´ω・`*) I hope the laptop's not giving out or something...

Mmm yeh, I'm not sure.  You have to hope for the best until you get the funds to buy another one.
