Going back to Chicago.

So...exhausted. I know I've dealt with people that don't know what they're doing. But this Job Corps thinghas now gone into the levels of simply being retarded. I have no idea what to ay about the laughable disorganization of these people.

Now, they have an orientation once every month in my area. The 3rd Tuesday of every month. I wish that weren't so anoying but they can't even understand THAT properly.

June: I got all the information that they had to give me and I showed up at the appropriate meeting zone...only for nobody to know what I was talking about. Made some calls and scrambled -everywhere- and found out that they got the time and place wrong. So that was a wasted month.

July: Last week I called them to try to confirm everything from their own mouth. Time, date, location and so on. When I called, they said that it was next week. So I was like "Okay, I'll call them that tuesday morning and get everything straight." So...I did. I called today to get everything ready and organized for when its time to get there. And I called, and they said it was LAST week. Meaning I missed it once again.

So this time I made a f ew more calls and found out WHERE the JC center is, and when they hold orientations there. As it turns out, instead of once a month, at the center itself, they have it every Wednesday. How convenient, I was heading out to Chicago today anyways. Girlfriend is sick, and I gotta take care of her anyways.

While I'm out, I'll be getting a new fan so again, I should be able to get back online more often. And hopefully, I'll get a fan that lasts. Although granted, I got what I paid for. 3 or 4 months with a cheap piece of crap actually is pretty good, and it kept my laptop nice and cool, or at least cool enough to handle youtube. So...I'll be able to do stuff again within a few days.

Dunno how long I'll be in Chicago this time, though. But I should be hopping online more from her place regardless.

I can't believe just getting the orientation to this freakin' place would be such a hassle. If it's THIS bothersome getting in, I wonder how annoying and disorganized it'll be once I'm actually THERE.

Criminally incompetent... in other words, it's run by the US government.  :p

Sounds to me like no communication between the higher ups and front desk so to say. But that's nothing new with things like that. Hope g/f gets better soon.

I knew from the start this wouldn't be good. @.@ You did say you'll be online more, right?

Ya gotta talk to me, bro! I miss you! >.<

Let's hope these folks get their shit straight. There's no reason for that kind of incompetence.

By the way I talked to your ladyfriend the other day. She signed on to your steam and I thought it was you. She seems very nice. :3

You think that was bad. Just even contacting the RIGHT people was a hassle. They gave me 3 wrong phone numbers and 2 transfers just to get me in contact with the right Job corps center that was nearby. x.x

Good luck with everything, Mavy!  Hope things go a little more smoothly once you're actually in the program.  <3

Love you!
