Thursday I traveled to the big city (eee I hate big city driving..v.v) for my first appointment to a Pride center, a transgender/gender fluid support group. Everyone was really friendly! I filled out paperwork to get a appointment at the Doctor that is affiliated with them. That appointment ain’t until July though. So with any luck they’ll be able to monitor me while on HRT and be able to get a prescription for them. We’ll see how that goes, I also signed up for a short, few weeks worth of therapy with a meeting twice a month. Which will be good to get a few things off of my chest (as more weight is piled on it!) So I talked with the lady there and it was mostly just a info dump, they gave me alot of resources, alot of places that are trans friendly around here and a safe sex kit. ^^’ and it felt sooo amazing to be called by my female name “Shyanne” (I wrote that down as my preferred name) and being referred to with female pronouns (she, her, etc.) It’s hard to explain, I was surprised how good it felt. Granted I’ve been called female pronouns online in chats and such..but she was the first person irl to call me a girl and it was bliss i don’t know why, it just felt so wonderful. I know it sounds weird and it surprised me how good it felt. So if at all possible, from now on, when referring to me, please can you use female pronouns? *looks pleadingly* Everyone there was so nice and I look forward to my next visit as well. And with any luck hopefully I’ll be monitored while on HRT soon as well. They also gave me a shirt that says 'Transgender Health Initiative' but the largest size they had was XL which is a bit too small tho, tho it does reveal my C cups nicely ^^'
