OK folks, I want to first apologize for going quiet for so long. I had a lot of different things going on in real life, including having my last computer crash, as well as a long spell of apathy. For a while I wasn't sure if I wanted to continue writing. But in my random musings and rampant gaming I came to realize both why I want to continue writing and why I have a hard time getting stories out in a timely matter: writing isn't a skill that comes naturally to me. Most of my life I've been used to picking up on skills very easily without much practice, but writing apparently isn't one of them. So I got frustrated and walked away for a while.Now, a year older (and hopefully a bit wiser) it's time for me to knuckle down and write again, so I can start churning out things that I can really be proud of. I also need to work on being more vocal, so if I start to clam up, please feel free to ping me, poke me, whatever it takes to get my attention.
Anyway, I'll be devoting more time to writing each day, and with luck, my first story of 2014, Allurians: First Contact Ch. 2, will be out in a few weeks.
