Furfright, Rainfurrest, and Tail Spin...

Hey guys!

I'm actually wanting to attend both of these conventions...but I don't have anyone to room with cuz my usual crew isn't gonna be going to them unfortunately. Does anyone have any extra room for one more quiet artist?

Also, I had a thought...you know how Tail Spin was based on characters taken from the Jungle Book, but they were given more intelligence/ engineering knowledge? Why did Disney stop doing cool shit like that? I was thinking the other day that they should do something similar, but with the characters from The Lion King instead of Jungle book. I mean...COME ON!!

Timon and Pumba would be two-bit small time criminals on the run

Mufasa would be the mayor/president, Nala would be the police chief while Simba's a cool detective or something like that. Not sure what Scar would be but you could make him a big,bad underworld boss or something iunno.

Something like that would be very cool, and would certainly beat the automatically terrible programming on the Disney Channel (save for I'm in the Band).

The closest thing to a concept like that I can think of is the reuse of actors from Marry Poppins in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Bedknobs and Broomsticks, all of which were simply awesome.

I admit, a series based around the mercenaries from Atlantis would be pretty cool, and I would totally watch it if it was done well.

My birthday's actually around that time o 3o and this is my first time hearing about rainfurrest! *Goes to check* :3
Also Disney stopped making cool shit cause Michael Eisner started pumping out "Hannah Montana " and "The Suite Life of Zach and Cody" :B lame ass....

I'm going to Rainfurrest, so maybe. I'm not sure what my rooming conditions will be, and I might have another friend as well, but you'd be welcome to a bed (I prefer sleeping on the ground anyway).

I might have to make a comic series out of everything you just said... :3

I think you could make an amazing Lion King comic based on those ideas.

I had to book the Super 8; turns out the Cromwell sold out in March.
