The above journal contains screencaps of the report and my private message to Kayla.
I did what I thought was the right thing and I am now being portrayed as the villain.
I understand that the Inkbunny staff likely have access to my IP and other information to determine my other accounts on Inkbunny and thus my identity.
And I understand that if you believe I am harmful to your users, you will reveal that identity.
I want to give you my side of the story, however.
Kayla-Na was one of several artists mass-producing erotic My Little Pony content manufactured and distributed through the services of FurryDakimakura. That is a serious case of IP infringement.
I reported the items I saw to Hasbro. Kayla-Na believes that I was targeting her because I hate her.
That is a half-truth.
I "targeted her" (and may I remind you that she committed a crime outside of my control) because her unpleasant personality, devil-may-care approach to law, and high profile mean that she is a poor role model for her followers and the perfect target to let those followers know that neither Kayla nor they get to pretend the law does not exist.
But whether Kayla is explicitly targeted or not does not matter. Would I have been able to "target Kayla" if she had not been committing a crime?
She has recently received death threats due to no longer providing commercial pony art, but none of them have been from me. I have even apologized to her that my actions have provoked that response from the fandom, but she will not accept it and is now painting me as the bad guy.
I reported infringement to a copyright owner and that owner responded. I apologized to Kayla for other people overreacting and threatening her life and she did not accept it.
Everything else is out of my hands now.
I hope that what I have said will make clear to the Inkbunny team that I am not "the bad guy" here.
