NO BRONYCON

by
You guys might have noticed I haven’t been updating my blogs that often lately. This is because of personal matters.

In the last couple weeks some serious real life events came up. This thing, this BronyCon thing, was bleeding out from many wounds and in the end I decided it wasn’t worth risking so many other things to get there.
I was pumped for this yet months and months have passed and one thing after another came up, and plans have changed and I simply cannot go.
I would have loved to meet my friends, fans, and many good artist there, but I had to make a tough call. Believe me I’ve been spending weeks thinking, weighing out pros and cons, but the cons won out, not to mention the one last thing that put the icing on the cake…
I will look up cons in Europe, since I live in Scotland, and I’ve already listed some alternative options.

Sorry, and I hope I haven’t disappointed you

I wish you the very best, and I believe the people attending BronyCon will be most understanding. <3

I hope things will come to be better before long and you get peace of mind. Though it'd be thrilling for a chance to meet you, were BUCK ever an option on your list, obviously your personal matters take precedence over anything else. I'll look forward to hearing better news from you. You have my regards. :)

Sorry man. Obviously you don't know me, just one of a ton of fans, but I love your work and I'm very sorry to hear that something is preventing you from enjoying Bronycon, or anything else it seems. You are a huge inspiration to me, and I aspire to someday be able to do work as fast and as well as you do.

Hope things get better soon!

I hope you can still have some fun this year at cons, even if they are not BronyCon.
From what I have experienced at conventions, the pony fans are everywhere though so you can meet up with fans and friends at other cons as well.

As far as Cons go, in Germany you got Eurofurence starting 21. August. I have been to that several times and it was always very nice. So I can recommend that one ^^
There is also Confuzzled starting 23. May in UK. I have not been to that one yet (this year is first time) but I heard much good stuff about it as well.

Better not to stress, and forget something on the day. Last year at Buck, two Americans couldnt get in because they gave their tickets to a freind to bring to the place with him and they think he got in first, then couldnt hear his phone.

Someone else left his ticket back at the hotel, and couldnt get there and back in the time between opening the doors to allow entry, then closing the doors to anyone else arriving.

I was stood outside at the time, after passing through from Nintendo roadshow in Liverpool, and because I dont use credit cards and they only do online payments, all I could do was watch the costumes and latecomers.

Always expect to take longer and carry extra, and budget accordingly. Then possibly lose something.

Down Bletchley, I lost my health to a contaminated towel in the hotel. At least it wasnt instantly serious.

When you do manage to go, enjoy yourself.

If you dont manage to go, think of enjoying yourself on a tropical island with a hot Zecora plying you with hot coffee, and fresh zebra milk and cream. Or just go straight for the fresh hot Zecora. 8)

Oh wow, didn't know you were looking to go to BronyCon until now. Sorry to hear that things aren't going so well for you.

I would have loved to meet my favorite pony artist, but will have to wait until another day. :D

Best of luck to you and I hope you find another way to enjoy yourself. Definitely check out GalaCon if you can, I hear that is the near equal to BronyCon on the other side of the pond. >w<

EDIT: Aaaaaand... I just noticed this post is over a year old. Either way, hope things are better for you these days man.  -_-
