Since my last post I've become mostly homeless (I say mostly because occasionally friends down here in the south give me a place to stay/earn money till I can jump to the next place/hotel) for the past few months.
Hopefully I'll be moving in with a new roommate soon in the next few weeks and it will be a permanant place. If so, I'll be setting up my home office again. I have a list of previous commissions (both done and some honestly the files just got lost so I'm going to contact those of you with lost files and just work out full refunds) of which I'm going to be accountable for.
Either via uploading or refunding, I'll work out plans for refunds when I have stable enough income I can spare money on things other than housing/food (which again, we're hoping for in the next few weeks here). Currently for the next WEEK (as in paid up till) I am in a hotel, so I WILL be taking new commissions among the uploads/refund messages.
I'm letting you all know this ahead of time that I have a new system for such things, and it really simply boils down to 'don't take on more work than you can complete at any one time'. Sketch comissions will be done ENTIRELY in-stream. If I cannot finish your commission in one go, I'll message you privately about it or just push myself past the point of sleep to finish it as the last one of the night.
All streams will be recorded and no work will go past the stream time. Wait list and complicated/colored commissions will not be available as I would need off-screen time to complete them and I just don't feel comfortable doing that right now, and would like to rebuild a good sense of trust from the tattered remains of my disappearance. In the spirit of keeping things as transparent as possible now, I'll also be implementing a new updating/checking system when I DO open regular commissions again, using a nifty little website that lets you check the status and image stills of in-progress projects. A link will be provided when I open such commissons, and will be sent in a commissions 'order letter' to every buyer before work is done, detailing my availability, my work skype and business hours I will be on it, my new work email, and the website to check the status of your project.
I really have no excuse for the debacle that happened a few months ago. I let life and a few other things snowball out of control, mixed with what I now know was a deep depression over certain personal events, that I let effect my confidence and goals, and overall performance. I deeply apologize to all those effected, if I do not message you within 48 hours, please assume your name was lost in the list though I've tried to be as complete as possible in my notebook to organize all the messages/commissions I had and the files that go with them. Again, please message me if you accidentally get skipped and don't hear from me, with a reference/screenshot of whatever agreement for payment/work we made. Thank you!
As I re-find my files I will upload them, including some greatly overdue ones this evening. Thank you for your patience, and I hope I can slowly prove to everyone I'm in a much better, and much more responsible and professional place than I was before! Here's to hoping we can make better connections in the future!
