Old Projects

About two years ago, I tried my hand at doing a 24 hour Comic. I didn't make it but I did get an idea and a few interesting pages out of it (one of which I'll post later).

The story was titled "Night of the Lepus". I stole the title from a terrible 70's scifi horror flick (based on the book Year of the Rabbit) which starred Janet Leigh and Star Trek's own DeForest Kelley. My story was less like that movie and more like a Twilight Zone episode. = )

I bring this up because I've recently wanted to do a project outside of my normal comic strip. Like I mentioned to someone before: I love writing about a silly vampire and his friends but sometimes I gotta' work on something else. This is the perfect project for it. It's not particularly meant to be funny, it's drawn up in a page-style with the possibility of being printed and it's cast is made up primarily of rabbits.

I guess the point of this little journal is to keep those old projects around. Go back, read them, see what could be changed and maybe even try to resurrect them. Who knows? Time and skill might be what's needed to bring it back!

So... any old projects you might be working on? = )

For me, that's a constant. Kinda' why I decided to go portable years ago and carry a sketchbook (or any kind of small book) around with me.

If I got a bit of free time, no matter where I am, I can kick back and sketch stuff. = )

Good idea.
I only use a small notepad for sketches, drawing at work is risky...
