way back when I first joined up on art galleries, re-posting art was kind of frowned upon and I even use to avoid people that all they did was post art they have gotten from someone else, ie was not their actual artwork. I think some galleries still hold to this rule, but others have gotten tired of fighting and stopped enforcing cross-posted artwork. It is something I kind of got use to and always had the thought that it was kind of the point of these galleries anyway, for artist to share the work they did, not for people to show off stuff their paid for, or was given. I have had that mentality for so long it is kind of hard to break, though I long ago stopped begrudging people that only posted commissions because I came to realize that some times artists do not post paid for work so it was the only way I was going to see those pieces.
At this point the only reason I do not post commissions is out of habit from never putting them up anywhere other than something like Photobucket. However I have been considering posting my commissions, been mulling over it for some time actually. I am feeling like at some point I might, but I would need to sit down and actually make time to do so.
I think that at where you find yourself in your life now, you can understand that any time I devote to doing stuff online is fairly marginal. I never really the time to do everything I want because of work and running around on the weekends and when do find internet time, I have to priorities it or accomplish nothing.
