Access problems with Inkbunny via T-Mobile and other ISPs

A small number of Inkbunny users are reporting access problems since our last server move.

" Note: If you have access issues and you use software called Hamachi or EasyVPN,
or have ever installed it, please see this journal instead.

We have discovered that some Internet Service Providers (ISPs) like T-Mobile are unintentionally causing issues with our new IP address.

This is usually caused by bad configuration of the networks by the ISP. Often it is because they have blocked the 5.x.x.x address range or are using that address range internally in ways they shouldn't. Unfortunately this is out of our control.

If you cannot access Inkbunny then you need to contact your ISP and tell them that our website https://inkbunny.net/ has a new IP address of 5.79.80.67 which may be incompatible with their network unless they make that address specially accessible for you.

Also make sure that the site is not blocked by their adult content filtering (some ISPs have this but usually you can tell them to turn it off).

For users of T-Mobile, they say Inkbunny works on 4G/LTE. If not for you, try T-mobile help for Android, iPhone, Windows Phone. If that doesn't help, file a trouble ticket via 1-800-937-8997.

Clearly some users will not be able to see this journal! If you know someone with access issues, please tell them this information.

We have passed this info on to users who have contacted us directly at admin@inkbunny.net. Anyone with ongoing issues should email us there.

If anyone finds a solution for their particular ISP, please let us know so we can tell others that use the same provider.

Thanks

IB

I've confirmed that at least on the East Coast, Brighthouse, Comcast, Verizon Wireless and pretty much every other wired Internet provider works. Though T-mobile on the south-east coast does not work at all.

Are the problems reported only by users who have T-Mobile US and/or other ventures of T-Mobile?

I'm using T-Mobile (NL) but I've no problem with connecting / using Inkbunny.
