Well, IB has a different speed than other places. When you start out, it's usually pretty slow before you really start accruing that many watchers and comments. It's different than FA in the sense that most of the people here are artists, and you don't have thousands of watcher only accounts to +fav and spread your stuff around.
That's also the charm of this place I feel - it's not just all lip service to get free art and watchers who don't do anything but suck up to artists. It's mostly artists having fun with other artists.
