I think I liked it better before I colored it. :(

Mixed media, Pigma micron pens and sharpie and Bic marker set on my acrylic pad paper, Prisma watercolor pencils (the paper starts to flake off a bit) and sketched with an ordinary pencil.

I'll be selling the original at a con so it's first come, first serve. Actually, that goes for a lot of sketches, even though the majority are on computer paper... I plan on doing more traditional stuff like this in the future, especially for Bronycon.

The B/W version is beautiful, but you did a wonderful job of colouring it as well. I'd be proud to own either of them.

I think I agree with you—but I just have a fondness for great inkwork. But the color work is beautiful too!

I think of all the people who draw ponies, yours is the most enjoyable to look at. Your work is absolutely gorgeous.

I know it's an old work but I think this is still relevant: do some preliminary value and colour tests before painting. Plan exactly how it will look finished before jumping in with the brush. That way there are no unfortunate surprises when you finish.
