- We are now together Bambi! - Thumper said. He touched with his hands the cervines check cleaning his tears.
- Yes. - Bambi replied. -  But we are alone in this world.
- Of course not! Look at around. - Bambi watched, the shadows vanished. A shiny ray of light cleared the sky. The ruins of the forest and the smoking rest of the trees are now green and leafy acres. Impossible see the limit.
- See Bambi? Everything has an ending, but on that ending everything begin again.
- Oh, but... my father.
- He is now resting, so proud of you because you are now The Last Great Prince Of The Forest.
- The last?
- Well... at least you find Faline and...
- Come on Thumper!

Both watched the large pines, the opened roads marked by bushes and the plains full of flowers.

- Is not like I remember it. - Bambi said amazed for how much beauty.
- No is not, it´s better.
- Yes... also, how did you survived that fire?

The little rabbit stayed in silence, looking the right words.

- Well. - Thumper continued. - Let´s say I am a lucky rabbit.
- Really?
- Yes. Like you. Don´t ask me how we survived, or how much died, or how much has been lost. The most important is start all over again.

Bambi made a small pause and looked carefully his friend.

- You changed a lot Thumper. Those words not sounds like you.
- Yeah... - Thumper made a grimaced. - But did you know why? because I growed up, and I madurated.
- Really? - Bambi laughed after see Thumper gifted him a naughty smile. Then, he understood what he needs to accept.
- Alright. - Bambi continued talking. - So, let´s go home.
- Oh no, we have not home anymore... we are going to a new home!
- And where is it?
- Wherever you want, and where ever you go I will go with you.
- Are you sure?
- Yes Bambi. Don't worry, everything is fine.

Then, Thumper jumped on Bambi´s and he catched on the air the rabbit...

This story is a brief echo of the finale' from Fantasia 2000, the story of the Circle Of Life told from a forest destroyed by an exploding volcano -- probably based on America's Mount St. Helens event from 1980.

The Firebird part?

Is kind of cool what they showed, the only thing I don´t liked it was they cut around 2/3 of the symphony. I´d liked it would larger, something like they showed on the original Fantasia with Rite of Spring (the dinosaurs part).

Fantasia 2000 was very truncated indeed compared to the original from 1940, and a pitiful crumb of what Walt himself had planned for the title: a constant, updated series that would showcase new pieces and animations every few years.
Funny thing, someone at Disney so enjoyed the Rite of Spring sequence they executed a full-scale diorama at Disneyland, which the Disneyland Railroad rolls through as it circles the park.
It's been ages since I posted these, so here again are two Fantasia Segments that never made it to the big screen:

The first video appear on a movie called "Make Mine Music", supposed to be some of those would be part of Fantasia but was discarded.

And the second, Destino, was used by a mexican song and the art of Salvador Dali. However, Disney and Dali hated each other with the pass of the time and never worked again. Alice in Wonderland used stuff of Dali made himself, but Dali wanted his designs without changes and DIsney modified his ideas. A drama basically.  xD

Clane De Lune's voyage is described in the video's intro.

Dali came to the same realization as P.L. Travers (Mary Poppins) and so many others before and certainly since: that Hollywood likes to do things its own way, and really does not care at all about your way.

Indeed. Too bad Disney never respected the original work of everything it touched... and even today is worst.

I heard about... A black Tarzan? I don´t know man but for me it sounds... kind of racist.  :v   Anyway is offtopic.

---

I´d liked see that animation on Fantasia. And even on Fantasia 2000 everything would be perfect, like "hey this has been removed, but now we will add it"... they proceded to recycled the Mickey sorceror part without changes or a better audio, that was lame.  xD

In America, we always say "the book is always better" because Hollywood has been chopping up stories to suit itself for a hundred years.

Hollywood is trying to reverse generations of comically bad racism and cultural abuse in its product in ways that are as clumsy and offensive as the original bad decisions. They are 'try-harding', which is putting too much effort into getting something right. But there is also this demand from the Hollywood business executives to have everything make lots of money, so risky or uncertain projects are avoided and they just try to re-cast and reinvent the same old stories that made them so much money before, hoping nobody will notice. The public does not need or want all these re-inventions of the classic Disney films, but the executives worried about stock values want them because they hope they will make the studio lots of money.

I am surprised how they don´t noticed we don´t need reinventions of classics, it will work just a remake or something like. People like and remember a good movie or story... because it is good.

In Mexico we say, "if is not broken, don´t fix it".  =P

Hollywood very much lives in their ivory tower. They view the market as something for them to supply with whatever they themselves like, and they get offended whenever everyone else -- the media consumers -- does not like their offerings. "THEY JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND MY WORK!" they have yelled since the very beginning. Hollywood even makes fun of their own arrogance on many occasions, but the audiences never seem to get the joke ... or the warnings.
I asked where you are from because now I can ask, since I know that Mexico has its own long movie history, are there titles and characters that are similarly overused in Mexican media?

Cartoons you mean? Well... for a while... Mmmm, is hard to choice... well, maybe we start with "Huevo Cartoon", it was shorts of eggs on parodies and else, and they had later movies, but they went on decadence with the time because the jokes got obsolete and they made a weird lore about chickens and eggs.  xD
Other will be "El Chavo del ocho", it was an actor show were people lived on... slums, and passed adventures, very silly. xD
The show was successful and it has even a cartoon too: "El Chavo animado". I think they want to make a tv show now on 3d but we know what happen with 3d shows...  :v
And... I think that´s all.  xD  Mexico is not famous making their own cartoons, the golden era already passed and it was on 80s. One of the best movies it was "Katy Caterpillar" if you want take a look.

I remember the Chavo Del Ocho cartoon. That live show was known to me because I grew up around Mexicans. I learnt about Chavo and Cantinflas from the kids and Walter Mercado from their mothers and 'abuelitas'. And boy did I hear about it when Siempre En Domingo ended its run!

Oh jeez, so I am sure you knew Chabelo too.  xDD

For me Chebelo was always an older man regardless of how young I was, because of his wise face. That he withstood Covid is wonderous.
Now, when THIS special clown died, I actually cried "NO!" out loud:
